Terran Robotics, Inc. ("Terran Robotics," "we," "us," or "our"), a corporation incorporated in Delaware with principal offices at 1355 N Scottsdale Road, Suite 200, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, operates the website terranrobotics.org and the Fleet Command Center platform (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have with respect to your information.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you provide when you:

• Contact us through our website: name, company name, work email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
• Request a demo or pilot program: name, title, company, project type, project location, and estimated project size.
• Register for Fleet Command Center: name, work email, company name, role, and password (stored as a hashed value - we never store plaintext passwords).
• Subscribe to our blog or newsletter: name and email address.
• Apply for employment: resume, cover letter, education history, and work history.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access the terranrobotics.org website, our servers automatically collect:

• IP address and approximate geographic location (city and country level)
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referring URL
• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Date and time of each request

This data is collected via server logs and cookies (see Section 5 below for cookie details).

1.3 Construction Site and Project Data

Customers who deploy the Terran construction robotics platform generate project data including:

• LiDAR point cloud data of the construction site
• BIM model files uploaded for project planning
• Robot telemetry: position, task logs, sensor readings, error events
• Computer vision QA data: timestamped photos, defect detection logs, inspection records
• Schedule data: task sequences, subcontractor windows, material delivery logs
• Digital Build Records: completed project documentation

This project data belongs to the customer and is processed by Terran Robotics as a data processor (not a controller) under GDPR Article 28. We process this data only to provide the Services and as directed by the customer. See our Data Processing Agreement (available on request) for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Website Contact and Demo Requests

We use contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry, schedule demonstrations, evaluate project fit, and send you relevant follow-up information about our products. We will not add you to marketing email lists without your explicit consent. Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

2.2 Fleet Command Center Accounts

We use account registration data to create and maintain your account, authenticate your access, provide role-based permissions management, and communicate with you about your account and active deployments. Our legal basis is performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

2.3 Analytics and Website Improvement

We use automatically collected data (server logs and analytics cookies) to understand how visitors use our website, identify errors and performance issues, and improve our content and user experience. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You may opt out by declining cookies when asked.

2.4 Legal Compliance

We may process your information as necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, and exercise or defend legal claims. Our legal basis is compliance with legal obligations (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)).

3.1 Service Providers

We engage the following categories of third-party service providers who process personal information on our behalf:

• Cloud infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS) - hosting, storage, and compute for Fleet Command Center and website
• Analytics: We use server-side analytics only (no third-party JavaScript trackers on terranrobotics.org)
• Email delivery: Postmark - transactional email delivery for account notifications and contact form responses
• Customer support: Help Scout - support ticket management for Fleet Command Center customers

All service providers are bound by data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us.

3.2 Business Transfers

If Terran Robotics is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email and by prominent notice on our website before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Terran Robotics, our customers, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law:

• Contact form submissions: 2 years from date of submission
• Fleet Command Center accounts: Duration of active subscription plus 90 days after termination
• Project data (site data, telemetry, build records): 5 years after project completion (required for construction warranty and lien period compliance)
• Server access logs: 90 days
• Analytics data: 13 months (rolling)
• Employment applications: 1 year from application date for unsuccessful candidates

5. Cookies

We use the following cookies on terranrobotics.org:

• cookie-consent (localStorage key): Stores your cookie preference (accepted or declined). Persists until cleared. Required for the cookie banner to function.
• Session cookies: Temporary cookies used to maintain your Fleet Command Center session. Expire when you close your browser.

• AES-256 encryption of all data at rest in AWS S3 and RDS
• TLS 1.2 or higher for all data in transit
• Role-based access controls and least-privilege principles for all internal systems
• Two-factor authentication required for all Terran Robotics employees accessing production systems
• Annual third-party penetration testing of Fleet Command Center
• SOC 2 Type II audit in progress (expected completion Q3 2025)

No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at contact@terranrobotics.org.

8. International Data Transfers

Terran Robotics is based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States and provide us with personal information, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your home country.

For transfers from the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission as our transfer mechanism. A copy of our SCC is available on request.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are directed to business and professional users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete that information promptly.
